Four Gus Birdwell Elementary students sang the national anthem at the Lynx and Lynxette varsity basketball games last night. We are so proud of our students. They did an amazing job.
SHS students in Ag Structure completed a project where they built a birdhouse. Great work!
The SJH GT students had a great visit to Skyland Cotton Gin. Our tour was amazing as the students were introduced to the entire process from the trucks' first arrival, the processing, the shipping, and finally to the "mountain of cottonseed hull" that naturally had to be climbed. Scott Sonnenberg did an outstanding job of touring us through the facility and answering every question we had. A big thank you goes to Scott and the employees of the gin for allowing us to visit and learn about this industry.

The students in Intro to Culinary Arts were assigned an egg challenge. Each group was given 30 minutes to cook an omelet, scrambled egg, poached egg, and fried egg over easy. Challenge accepted and the eggs are cooked!
