The Hansford County Stock Show is this week. The students are working hard getting their animals ready for the show.
The Hansford County Livestock Show is this Thursday - Saturday. Many of our students have a project they've been working with all year and are ready to show. We encourage all of you to come out this weekend and support these students!

Congratulations to Ryan Vasquez for qualifying for state in Congressional Debate! He competed in Austin and proudly represented the school district.
The other members of the Congressional Debate team were fortunate to share in on the experience of the high level competition at the state level.
A special thank you to Roger Morton and Dave Richmond for their coaching and support throughout this event.
On Friday, January 24th, eight Spearman swimmers competed at the District 3-4a Swim meet in Lubbock. The boys team, consisting of: Matt Allen, Maddox Ortiz, Ayden Peigne, Kaleb Puentes, Erick Reyes, Dallen Scroggs, and Oaklee Womble placed 3rd overall in the district, medaling in the 200m freestyle relay, 400 relay, and 3rd in the medley relay. Acey Womble placed 10th in the 50 freestyle and 8th in the 100 breaststroke. Incredible job to the athletes and coaches! 💥🏅
Tomorrow, January 27th, we stand with the Panhandle communities in wearing pink for Serenity. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Borger school district and the entire community.
Mrs. D'Arcy Roberts and her art students wecomed Gus Birdwell Elementary students who are part of the GT program for an engaging art session, introducing them to diverse mediums, brushes, and techniques, followed by a creative Valentine gnome painting experience.

We would like to congratulate the following students for being selected as the Spearman Junior High January Students of the Month:
6th grade: Jimena Ortiz & Tivon Herndon
7th grade: Sulay Briseno & Richard Chairez
8th grade: Mary Pearson & Joel Plasencia
These students have exemplified the qualities we strive for at Spearman Junior High. Each month, teachers will choose one male and one female student from each grade to represent SJH. 216 Main will be providing each student with a cookie and a drink.
