Out of an abundance of caution and to protect the staff and students of Spearman ISD, we will be canceling school today. The continued snow can create problems with the illusion that there’s no ice on the roads and we don't want to take that risk.

Due to the delay in classes today, Spearman ISD will also need to reschedule class and group pictures scheduled for today.

Spearman ISD has evaluated its local and legal policies regarding the privacy of your children’s records (FL-local & legal), interaction with Law Enforcement (GRA-local & legal), and have evaluated statements given to us by our legal service team to determine our response in the event that a situation arises in which law enforcement requests to speak with students or obtain their records.

On Future Awareness Day, we celebrate Acceptance letters! Oklahoma State-Connor; WTAMU-Quiara; Tarleton-Brettson; & Mr. Richmond has been accepted into the Texas State Guard & Wayland Baptist University as he begins to work on his Master's degree. Congratulations to you all!
Each month, various departments from across the district are acknowledged at the school board meeting to express gratitude for their hard work and commitment. This month, the fourth grade team, junior high special area teams, and high school special area teams were celebrated.
We are proud of our seniors who have received their Acceptance letters! Baylor University - Chance; Frank Phillips College - Ana, Anahi, Daya, and Kevin ; Amarillo College - Liliana, Anahi, and Hudson ; Texas Tech University - Lanie and Emma. Great job to the Class of 2025!

School Counseling Week is a special opportunity to express our gratitude for the incredible work of our counselors. They tirelessly support both students and staff, fostering a safe and nurturing environment for all who seek guidance. We are deeply appreciative of their dedication and the invaluable role they play in our community.
Spearman High School recently had the privilege of welcoming 20 new members into the National Honor Society (NHS). To be eligible for NHS, students must exemplify the pillars of character, leadership, service, and academic integrity. As part of the ceremony, 2001 Spearman High School Graduate, Sally Pittman Hawkins, took the stage to speak on the significance of these four qualities.
With heartfelt personal stories and experiences, Hawkins brought the message to life, passionately sharing why it matters to go out into the world and become a person who not only leads by example but also inspires others to do the same. Her words resonated deeply, reminding the students of the impact they can have by modeling positive behavior and empowering others to be their best.
Hawkins, the daughter of Bill and Ginger Pittman, is a proud mother of three and the president of Panhandle First Bank. In her role, she leads with integrity and sets a high standard for others to follow.
Congratulations to the new NHS members for their outstanding achievements and commitment to excellence! Keep striving to be the leaders and change-makers our world needs.
