GBE GT students recently had an incredible visit to the Texas Tech School of Veterinary Medicine!
They were first welcomed in the ASCO lobby, where they got a glimpse of where veterinary students gather, collaborate, and build community. From there, they toured the 24-hour lab, exploring training models and even getting hands-on experience with the tools vet students use to develop their skills.
Next, students visited the “ologies” lab, where a faculty member guided them through two engaging exercises. They also had the exciting opportunity to ask questions and learn directly from a veterinary surgeon!
The trip wrapped up with a visit to the bone museum, where students examined real bones and organs from both small and large animals—an unforgettable, up-close look at animal anatomy.
A fantastic day of learning and exploration!
