Congratulations to senior, Emma Gilley. She passed her Industry Based Certification in Food Safety and Science Certification. Emma has completed the CTE program of study, Health and Wellness in the Human Services Career pathway. Emma's FCS teacher is Halston Abercrombie. SHS is proud of the hard work and dedication happening in the classroom!

SISD, A notice has been sent out by Xcel Energy regarding the potential for Public Safety Power Shutoffs due to the severe weather event (high wind & red flag warning) on February 17th. We will have school as normal, but in the event of a black out, we may be forced to dismiss school. We will continue to monitor the situation tomorrow and communicate as information becomes available.

Spearman ISD Statement Regarding Gus Birdwell PTO Financial Investigation

The Spearman High School UIL Academic teams competed at the High Plains Invitational in Amarillo, Texas, on February 11, joining schools from across the Amarillo area for a strong day of competition. 🏆 More than 40 of our students represented Spearman in a variety of academic events, continuing to sharpen their skills and improve their overall team scores. 📚✏️ We are especially proud of our UIL Social Studies team, which earned 1st place overall! 🥇 Congratulations to Ricardo Peñuelas Alcaraz for placing 1st individually 🥇 and Vladimir Caro for placing 6th! 👏 We are incredibly proud of these students for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to academic excellence. We look forward to continuing to build, improve, and compete as the season progresses.
